With the downfall of the economic climate being realized to its full extent over the past year, it has become quite obvious to many people that there may be no safe places to invest your money any more. This might sound a little dramatic, but I know that from my point of view, I would not be able to trust anybody with my savings anymore, and think that it is well worth investing the money in your own projects instead of trusting somone else with it.
